How about walking in the World Heritage “Heijo Palace” with an English speaking guide?

Visit the “Heijo Palace;” one of the World Heritage site “Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara.” This is the remains of the ancient capital of Japan. Some of the architecture has been reconstructed in the same scale and style from ancient times; such as “Imperial Audience Hall” where various rituals were conducted, “Suzaku-mon Gate” which was the front gate to the palace, and “Suzaku-oji Avenue” which was the main street of the ancient capital. Let’s explore and think about the people who built the Japanese capital more than 1,300 years ago, and experience some of ancient lives and cultures.

Schedule 09:40 (or 13:40) Meet at JR Nara Station (west exit).

・With an English speaking guide, take a local bus to World Heritage “Heijo Palace”.
・Explore the various facilities at the vast “Nara Palace Site Historical Park” which was newly open in the “Heijo Palace” in 2018.
・Slip back in time to the ancient capital and imagine their lives while looking around the reconstructed architecture; “Suzaku-mon Gate,” “Imperial Audience Hall,” “Suzaku-oji Avenue,” and “Embassy ship to Tang Dynasty China.”
・Participate in programs where you can experience ancient lives and cultures at facilities in the park.
・Back to the meeting location by a local bus with an English speaking guide.

13:20 (or 17:20) The tour ends at JR Nara Station (west exit).

11 or more days : No charge
10 days to 8 days : 20% of the tour fare
7 days to 2 days : 30% of the tour fare
1 day : 40% of the tour fare
Prior to the starting time of the tour : 50% of the tour fare
After day of departure or in case of not showing up without
notice : 100% of tour fare
